So cute! So much variety. And so many options to choose from. From snacks, to food, to drinks! It's so crazy. Very cozy. Warm welcome from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I love the variety and taste of it all. If you come in, try the GOLD RUSH!! It's so good. Be aware it may be a tad bit sweet but can be adjusted to your personal sweetness level. I will always have a special love for the Green Monster. That will forever be our Ahgase drink.

We came here for pastry but ended up staying for lunch. Their beef noodle soup was surprisingly very good. The broth was so soothing. Their onion pancake was little greasy but had good flavor with crispy skin. We also tried their XLB. It came out hot with juicy filling. Probably not the best XLB I've had but good enough to satisfy your cravings. Their latte was not too bad either. Appreciated the almond milk option. With so much options in food, desserts and drinks, I will be back for sure.

Gosh. This is my to go spot! I just found out that there is 30% after 8PM! Plus, the store uses FiveStars reward so there are extra points. I especially love the golden cupcakes. Sometimes, when I come in, I don't see them. But today I saw a bunch so I got 10 of them! So excited. These little delights are flavorful. They are $2 for 3 without discount. I love the taste of eggs. Yum

The sign says Bakery, but it is so much more than that! With all of the gorgeous pastries in front, it is hard not to go straight to them first, but hubby and I have found that it's best to order our meals/drinks first and get comfy, before visiting the pastry cases. They have plenty of very nice seating accommodations and have added phone charging stations at most tables too. The menus are kind of overwhelming and wrap quite a ways to the left of the cashier. At first, it was really hard to decide what to order but the staff at Izzy's is so nice! They answered all my questions and were patient with us when we weren't sure what to order. They helped us pick some dishes that we wanted based off of some pics I showed them from our fellow Yelpers as well! Very cool. So far we have tried the Mongolian beef, pork steamed mini buns, Hong Kong style pork (lunch and dinner plates), green tea, winter melon tea, and a variety of pastries. All of the items we tried were very good! A few hints when you visit: 1. you can adjust the sweetness of your tea by request. I generally go for zero sweetness so that is a must for me. 2. The pastries are marked down 30% after 8pm, great time to grab a bunch of things to try! 3. The AM special is $3.99 for any drink and bread - also a great deal! 4. You can ask the cashier up front for the WiFi password and they will gladly share it with you! It took me awhile to convince the hubby to try this place, as he is such a creature of habit, but once I did, I knew he would like it! Hubby and I are hooked now, and we look forward to our visits here. He is hoping to try their sweet and sour pork next time, and I am looking forward to exploring their menu as much as I can. So glad we have Izzy's nearby to frequent when we are hungry!

A bakery and eatery selling Taiwanese food!? YESSS! It's true, the baked goods are very much like 85C, and so are the prices! While the building itself is quite big, the pick your own pastries section is in a smallish area off to the side. There was a pretty good selection available in the cases though. Everything was neatly arranged with breads in one section, tarts in another, etc. Unfortunately when we got here around 5 a few of their selections were sold out but it wasn't as bad as the other Asian bakery that opened up recently where it's a barren dessert desert in the late afternoon to evening. I managed to snag the very last Portuguese tart and Hokkaido cream cheese tart and also got the walnut charcoal bread, green tea mushroom bread and an orange sponge cake. Out of the two tarts I preferred the Portuguese tart with its rich creamy custard, caramelized top, and fluffy layered crust. The crust on the Hokkaido tart was dense and crumbly, while the filling was very creamy with a light cream cheese flavor. The walnut bread is like the fruitcake of bread. I didn't taste or see any of the advertised charcoal but it was layered with a lot of fruit and nuts with a chewy dense crumb. I wasn't a fan of the green tea mushroom bread. It had the floral essence of (Jasmine?) green tea with some yellow bean paste. There wasn't a lot of mushroom in the bread, just a few pieces. The whole combination of floral green tea flavor with savory mushroom and sweet paste was weird to me. The bread itself was dense and chewy. I really liked the fluffy soft texture of the orange sponge cake but I didn't taste any orange flavor. The sugar level was perfect for me, just lightly sweet. I had hoped to redeem the screenshot offer on Yelp for 10% off but it turns out that offer was reserved for only the first 200 customers. Well I'm assuming they've surpassed that number for some time so perhaps they should adjust their Yelp page! The total was very reasonable, a little over $10 for the baked goods whose prices ranged from $1.50 to $2+ dollars. I'll be back to try more pastries and to get some delicious sounding Taiwanese dishes on their food menu!
